Enrollment is now open for preschool children who are permanent residents of McPherson County.  Click on the link below for your child to receive free, monthly books mailed to their home.  It can take up to three months for the first book to arrive.  Then based on the child's birth date, age-appropriate books will begin arriving each month until the child turns 5.  

United Way of McPherson County has helped 115 McPherson County families avoid eviction and keep the lights on through the Community Response and Recovery Fund.  United Way has paid rent and utility bills totaling more than $52,000 to help local families during the pandemic.

Community Response and Recovery Fund:

United Way of McPherson County has set up the Community Response and Recovery Fund to help in areas where the need is greatest during the COVID-19 crisis. Contributions will help individuals and families in McPherson County with basic needs. Please click the button below to donate to our fund.

Volunteers needed to provide meals on a meeting night (Mondays in Lindsborg and Thursdays in McPherson). We also look for people willing to be intentional friends with a person in poverty and work in childcare on meeting nights.
