We accomplish our goals by partnering with human service agencies that are addressing four PRIORITY AREAS in our community.
Assuring access to basic needs including housing, food, clothing, healthcare, affordable transportation and safety/security
Helping people live healthy, functional lives through emergency assistance, support and counseling
Assuring all children develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially in a safe, nurturing environment
Empowering citizens with information and access to resources to become self-reliant

Provides free summer lunch to children and adults who accompany children. Lunch is prepared and served Monday through Friday in Lindsborg and Marquette at area churches.

Steps to End Poverty of McPherson County works to end poverty one family at a time by building relationships across economic and class lines in order to transform lives.

Providing a program to assist victims of sexual assault and domestic violence with advocacy services, shelter, 24-hour crisis line, safety planning, relocation, follow-up services, community education, law enforcement consultation and job searches.
Providing the "Safety Around Water" program to second graders to teach basic swimming and water safety skills; providing the "Y-Kids" program to provide quality child care in a safe environment; providing the "Activate" program targeting middle school students to promote volunteerism and develop community leaders.

Our mission is to provide a safe, trauma informed space for the teens in our community. A space where they are able to find unconditional love and the ability to be empowered through structured programs. These programs will assist in teaching skill building, interpersonal relationships, life skills, self-love and care, altruism and love for those around them, and the ability to break generational family cycles and social problems that are negatively impacting their lives. We will provide opportunities for leadership, enjoyment, friendships, and being seen for their uniqueness and then celebrate it. Teens can then develop their physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cognitive abilities at their own pace.
Providing a program of sports training, education and athletic competition to individuals with intellectual disabilities regardless of their abilities.

Providing support services and assistive technology programs to ensure persons with disabilities in McPherson County have access to equipment and services allowing for increased or maintained levels of independence.

Providing senior center service programs associated with eight McPherson County locations to help seniors strengthen their capability to remain in their own homes and respective communities while maintaining dignity and self-determination.
Providing the "Brush Up Mac" program designed to help low- to moderate-income homeowners maintain their properties. Targeted population includes elderly, disabled or single-parent residents.

Our goal is to enhance our community through youth mentorship and fitness! We have partnered with Forging Youth Resilience whose mission is to “empower young people to build physical and mental strength for life by providing access to a network of community-based fitness programs and mentorship.” FYR Mac-Town program is currently for 8-18-year-olds.
